The Commissioner for Youth, Sports and Public Safety in Imo State, High Chief Rodney Ajealu had said  the failure of Heartland F C was as due to lack of true Commitment by everyone involved in ensuring  the Club retains its Glory.
The Commissioner stated this while responding to an appeal made by the Imo Football Association Vice Chairman Mr Emma Ochiagha who pleaded for the intervention of the State Governor to Stream-line the Organogram of the Club for Statutory position already established to strive adding that the Club should not be a ground for Experimentation but for professionals and technocrats in the field to use their accumulated wealth of experience for Imolites to be happy.  The FA Vice Chairman further reveled that for 35 yrs of the club it hard never been relegated till recently.
in his response, Hon Commissioner, Rodney Ajaelu at the Official Commissioning of the Clubs office in Ikemba Ojukwu Square, Owerri on Monday noted    that the club failed due to pursuance of personal gain instead of collective aim of the club as the groups or persons invited for Heartland F C success were not driven by passion to first secure the feams Victory and smooth successes before the attention of the State Governor.
Ajaelu Advocated for a new Heartland F C with a Blue print and a workable formula that will be used to revive the club back  to its Glory which will attract the full attention of Governor Rochas Okorocha.   Earlier, Chairman of Heartland F C, Hon Goodfaith Chibuzor Etemena thanked the Imo State Government led by Governor Rochas Okorocha and Imolites for  their support and emcouragement since he came on board  and assured to correct past mistakes for Heartland FC to move forward.
