WAC Deny Placing Chikatara On Transfer List

Wydad Athletic Club of Casablanca have denied placing Super Eagles striker Chisom Chikatara on transfer papilonews.com can reveal.
Contrary to that, Chisom is highly rated at the club and the club has so much believe in him that they recently turned down a huge offer reportedly worth up to $1m for the former Abia Warriors goal getter.
Chisom’s intermediary Barrister Johnny Precious Ogbah revealed this from Morocco where he had gone to visit the striker and his other players in the Kingdom of Morocco.
“I have three players in Morocco, Chisom, Tony Edjomariegwe and UgonnaUzochukwu so I visit Morocco very often because my management style is not one that is just concerned with transferring the players and moving on. I ensure that their day-to-day activities are well taken of so they have nothing to worry about and thus give their best on the pitch always.
“Just yesterday I had a chat with WAC Manager SebastienDesabre and he told me unequivocally that Chisom is very highly rated and that he is going to bring out the best in Chisom very soon. He explained that because he is just returning fro injury he is not rushing him back to action.
“Also, during the week the President of WAC made it clear while responding to speculations about Chisom’s future that he was not going to let Chisom out on loan to any other club, and that he recently turned down an offer of $1m from an unnamed Egyptian club because he knows Chisom’s potentials and has no intentions of letting him go easily.
“Every single day I receive inquiries from clubs around the world for Chisom. If WAC place him on the transfer list today Chisom will sign for another club tomorrow. Chisom is enjoying his stay in Morocco and working himself to full fitness after just recovering from an injury that sidelined him for a while. He scored a hat-trick in his comeback last week in a friendly game which WAC won 4-0,” concluded Barrister Ogbah of UK based law firm Activity Chambers.
