The finalists for the Sam Okwaraji football Competition in Imo State have finally emerged after the Semi-final games were concluded on Monday and Tuesday at the Dan Anyiam Stadium.
Owerri- Municipal Council completed the bet when they edged out their counterparts from Oguta LGA by 2 goals to nothing on Tuesday to join Ehime-Mbano in the final that on Monday defeated Ahiazu Mbaise LGA in the first Semi-final encounter also at the Dam Anyiam Stadium, Owerri.
Meanwhile, the final of the tournament ably powered by Chief Okey Eze for all the 27 LGAS in the State originally slated for Thursday December, 29, 2016 have been shifted, Sports Ambassador reliably gathered.
A source close to the Local Organization Committee, LOC member of the tourney designed to Immortalize Legendary Samuel Sochukwuma Okararji (late) who died in active service for Nigeria disclosed that the new date for the final will be communicated to the finalists and the general public.
